Most interviews are agenda-driven and impersonal, usually geared towards the creation of a splashy headline to draw in as many readers as possible. Journalists often put words into the mouths of their subjects to foster intrigue. I’m tired of that. I think an interview should accurately trace the subject’s mind, reveal their unique perspective, and document their perceptions of themselves and their world.
I’ll be interviewing artists whose work I admire and people whose lives and ideas interest me. I hope you’ll find something within this site that will entertain or inspire you.
